Review: Forever My Girl

I was a little iffy about this movie, in the beginning, I will admit.

If I were Josie, I thought, I would not trust Liam or let him back into my life. At least not without a significantly long period of time in which he repeatedly proved himself to be a changed man.

At the climax, however, I finally saw the theme of loyalty.

The way Josie committed to love Liam even if he would not do the right thing mirrors the parable of the father and the prodigal son and ultimately God and us.

No matter how many times we mess up, or how big and destructive those mistakes are, God will always be ready to welcome us home the way Josie accepted Liam.
